History of the

Pasig Achievers Leo Club

The Club started in November 2010 as a brainchild of Past President Elizabeth Tan, MJF of the Pasig Host Lions Club. Concieved as a premier Leo Club of the District. With the help of Past President Alex Albano, the Pasig Host Leo Club was born. The group started with 30 strong members with the majority of the members coming from the Pasig City Science High School. The club engaged to different socio-civic activities together with thier parent club, the Pasig Host Lions Club. The Leo Club is categorized as a community based Leo Club and an Alpha Club, considering that the majority of the members are under the age of 18.

By late January of 2011, the name was changed to Pasig Achievers Leo Club during the brainstorming session with Past District Governor George Ong-Tan, PMJF. The sudden change of name was brought about by the PHLC's former Leo Clubs that had the same name with the "Host" but did not prosper.

As of today, the Pasig Achivers Leo Club is one of the most dynamic Leo Clubs in the District, boasting projects that cover every facet of Lionism and Socio-Cultural Responsiveness. The Club has a montly contribution of 1 project so as to continue the momentum that the club had since its infancy. Together with thier   parent club, the Club will reach greater heights and the service of utmost appeal and par excellence will be achieved in a short span of time.
