Hello Everyone,

     My name is Lauren Bligh, and I am thrilled to accept the honor of becoming Moody High School’s Leo Club Sponsor.  I am currently teaching at Moody High School in the Special Education Department.  The saying holds true if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life.  I am so thankful to have the opportunity on a daily basis to impact the lives of children.  I remember the teachers who impacted my life, and became more than a teacher.  These were the teachers who wore every hat.  These were the teachers who chose to be counselor, advisor, encourager, motivator, friend, biggest fan, and would never let you down.  These were the teachers who would always smile and embrace you each and every day never showing when they themselves might have been going through a hard time.  I strive to be this teacher.  I strive to encourage and motivate.  The content and curriculum hold high value, but the skills we need to succeed in life do not come from textbooks, they come from loving people who believe in you when you do not believe in yourself.  I am so excited about this upcoming school year, and cannot wait to embark on this journey of leadership.  Thank you for your time.  Please feel free to contact me regarding any ideas for this upcoming year.  I look forward to another wonderful year teaching at Moody High School and taking the responsibility of molding the young Leo’s into their highest potential possible.
