1. Donation Campaign
Since the birth of club we have been collecting donations from various sources in kind and have made up a Cloth Bank, Toy Bank and Books Bank from which we donate these items to the needy people from time to time.
2. Volunteering
The club gave 20 Volunteers at Honey Singh's Concert in Gurgaon Organized by PFA(People For Animals) to collect funds for animal welfare on 24/12/2013
3. Welcome 2014
Organized WELCOME 2014 New Year Family Programme, 1st Pure Vegetarian New Year Eve with Lions Club Delhi Veg and Rajasthani Academy. This was the Installation Ceremony of the Club too and its report was published in Hello East Newspaper.
4. Blanket Distribution
Distributed 200 Blankets on 13th January 2014
5. Poster Making Competition
Leo Club Delhi Veg along with Lions Club Delhi Veg together organized an On the Spot Poster making competition on World Peace and Save Environment on 8th March 2014 where in over 300 students had paiticipated. Each participating student was given a certificate, refreshments, a gift and a drawing sheet.
6. Donation at Govt School
We have distributed our donations collected from our donation campaign thrice to Nehru Adarsh Prathmik Vidyalaya in Seelampur on 30/01/2014, 23/04/2014 and 5/05/2014
7. Blood Donation Camp
A blood donation camp was organized with Social Service League at St. Stephen's College, DU on 28th March 2014 which collected 144 units of Blood.
8. Nirbhaya Walk
The Club took part and was an organiser Of Nirbhaya Walk. An initiative took up to uplift women and to show the society that women are safe in Delhi even at night. The walk took place from Jantar Mantar to CP and was headed by Smt. Mamta Sharma (Chairman, National Commission For Women)
9. Educational Tour
Leo Club Delhi Veg and Leo Club New Delhi organized a Factory Visit to Somany Tiles, Parle and Merino Panel Products for its Leo Members.
10. Lions World Lunch Relay
We participated in the World Lions Lunch Relay on 4th April by organizing a Bhandara for 1200 people.
11. Food Distribution to School Children
400+ Students and the entire staff of Nehru Adarsh Prathmik Vidyalaya, Seelampur was provided with a small refreshment on 23/04/2014 and 05/05/2014
12. e-library set up
An e-library was set up at Nehru Adarsh Prathmik Vidyalaya, Seelmapur on 7/05/2014. A computer has been set up and a good collection of educational CDs have been provided to the school along with some text books too.
13. Donation to Sai Muskaan Foundation
Sai Muskaan Foundation is a charitable trust on outskirts of Delhi who teach around 100 students for a very nominal fees of Rs.100 providing them good education, unifroms text books and other study materials. We went there and gave them books collected from our Donation Campaign and new book sets were awarded to students on merit basis.
14. Study Material Distribution
Over 135 poor and needy Students from different NGOs and Schools were awarded with scholarships in kind on 23/04/2014 near Jagriti Temple. Each student was awarded with a School Bag, notebooks, geometery boxes, uniforms, water bottle, Lunch box etc. Lion Subhash Lakhotia ji Had donated a handsome amount for the success of this event.
15. Help to Fire Victims
In this blazing heat, fire victims of Chanakya Puri fire which took place on 27/04/2014 in their slums were going through difficulties. Leo Club Delhi Veg provided them with Clothes and stationery to the children.
16. 1st Women's Achievement Awards 2014
Along with TOPPERS EDUCATION SOCIETY & LIONS CLUB DELHI VEG we are organizing an award function to recognize the achievements of women in various fields on 18/05/2014 at Hindi Bhawan, Rouse Avenue, ITO New Delhi.
17. Freeze Mob
Leo Club Delhi Veg in association with Leo Club of New Delhi organised a Freeze Mob under its campaign: SCREAM for women Empowerment at CP on 9th June 2014.
18. Project Day
On 8th July 2014, Governor’s Project Day, we organised an eye check-up camp, a workshop for poor students and tree plantation drive at Faridabad in association with UDAAN.
19. Nirgun: Nritya Sangeet Mahotsava
Leo Club Delhi Veg in association with Rajasthani Academy & Lions Club Delhi Veg organised NIRGUN: NRITYA SANGEET MAHOTSAVA at IHC on 11th July 2014 at which famous Kathak-duo: Nalini-Kamlini performed.
20. Teej Mahotsava
Leo Club Delhi Veg was a participating club in TEEJ MAHOTSAVA organised by the district on 29th July 2014 at Dilli Haat, INA where we also performed a freeze mob.
21. Independence Day Celebration
We celebrated Independence day with the students of Nehru Adarsh Prathmik Vidyalaya, where we organised a painting competition and distributed sweets to all the students along with prizes.
22. Installation Ceremony
Leo Installation Ceremony & Charter Presentation was held at IIC on 29th August under the presence of DG, VDG-I and other PDGs.
23. Blood Donation Camp
On 4th September 2014, a BDC was organised at St. Stephen’s college, where 148 units were collected.
24. Health & Hygiene Workshop
Leos conducted a workshop on health and hygiene and distributed hand towels and soaps to all the students of Nehru Adarsh Prathmik Vidyalaya on 12th September 2014 and the same was conducted for JJ Colony Slum Children also on 16th September 2014.
25. LEO SPOTLIGHT ON CHILDREN
For our meritorious work for the welfare of children/students, we were awarded with a Leo Spotlight on Children Certificate and Banner Badge by the International President, Lion Joe Preston.
26. TEDx Conference
In association with FIC-CVS, TEDx Conference was organised at IIC on 27th September 2014.
27. Diwali Celebration
We celebrated Diwali with the students of Nehru Adarsh Prathmik Vidyalaya on 17th October 2014, where in we distrinbuted sweets and gifts to all the students and the staff.
28. Visit to Rashtrapati Bhawan
We organised a guided tour to the Rashtrapati Bhawan for the Leos on 31st October 2014.
29. Swachh Dilli, Swasth Dilli Campaign
Leos distributed 500 Mobile Dustbin bags at CNG Station located in Patparganj for the cause of clean and livable environment.
30. Freeze Mob
Another Freeze Mob for Women Empowerment And Women Safety was organised at CP on 17th December 2014.
31. Christmas For All
Slum Children of JJ Colony were taken to Dominos, at Model Town for a Christmas feast and a guided Restaurant Tour to spread the true spirit of Christmas.
32. Volunteering for Fund Raising Concert
Leos volunteered at Sachin & Jigar Concert organised by PFA on 28th December 2014, held at Siri Fort Auditorium.
33. Blanket Distribution
Leo Club Delhi Veg gave their contribution of 25 blankets for blanket distribution initiative of Lions Club Delhi Veg.
34. Ways To Success Workshop
We jointly organised Ways to Success workshop by renowned motivation Speaker: Mr. Praveen Narang at Pyare lal Bhawan with Lions Club Delhi Veg.
35. Republic Day Celebration
We celebrated Republic Day with the students of Nehru Adarsh Prathmik Vidyalaya, distributed sweets and installed a water cooler and water purifier at the school on 25th January 2015.
36. Feed The Hunger
Lunch was organised for the students of Nehru adarsh Prathmik Vidyalaya on 4th February 2015.
37. Blood Donation Camp
Another Blood Donation Camp was organised at St. Stephen’s College on 12th March 2015 wherein 102 units were collected.
