Project "ভাষার জন্য ভালবাসা"
February 16, 2012 at 9:00am until February 20, 2012 at 6:00pm
In 1952 on 21st February our heroic sons Salam, Borkot, Rafiq, Jabbar and many more have sacrificed their lives for our mother language "Bangla". At that time the Pakistan Govt. tried to impose Urdu as our mother language but our herioc sons came forward and raised their voice against the Pakistan Govt. And for their sacrifice we are now able to speak in Bangla. We are proud of them because for them now this day is internationally recognized.
Thus, it is our duty to show respect to the language martyrs. For that reason "Leo Club of Dhaka Mid Town Plus" built a "Shaheed Minar" in Progoti Primary School to show respect to the language martyrs on 16/2/2012.

Project "Colour of Freedom"

Project “Let’s Try To Make a Beautiful Dhaka”
March 9, 2012 from 10:00am to 12:30pm
We organized a clean up program at Dhanmondi Lake.
Majority of the people in Bangladesh does not care where they throw their rubbish, they discard their wastage without thinking about how adversely it will affect the environment or how offensive the sight of a pile of wastage is to the Passer-Bys. Even more offensive is the smell of rotting waste.
We should be careful about our wastage disposal.
Thus, Leo Club of Dhaka Mid Town Plus arranged this clean up event as an effort to make people realize the need to maintain a clean environment.

First Aid Training Program
April 12, 2012 from 3:00pm to 4:30pm
We held a first aid training program at Shapla Academy to teach the kids there how to use a first aid kit to give an immediate response to any cuts or abrasions. During childhood getting injured while playing is a common occuring and thus, children should have the knowledge of how to use a first aid box so that they can tend to themselves and others as well.
