Leos have served since 1957 when the first club was formed in Pennsylvania, USA. Now, over 50 years from their beginning, Leos have grown into a dynamic force for good--actively providing their communities and the world with kindness and service. This is just the start. The success of Leo clubs is a crucial part of the success of Lions Clubs International. Leos are the ones who will carry our great story into the future and improve upon it. 

As the youngest members of Lions Clubs International, Leos embody the best qualities of our incredible organization. They`re devoted young people who realize the power of action. Together, Leos and Lions form a powerful partnership—one of mutual respect, where Lions learn from the innovative insights of Leos,and where Leos gain access to the proven strategies of those who’ve successfully served the world for decades. 

Chartered by the New Fairfield Lions Club in January 1998, the Leo Club is a community service club that has not only participated in events/projects run by the Lions, but has also been involved in events and projects of their own. 

25 years to the month since the club was chartered, in January of 2023, the Leo Club held their first Induction Ceremony. The Club with 30 plus members strong and from all different and interesting backgrounds come together with a sense of service to help others. It is open to members from grades sixth to twelfth and it's a great way for students to build friendships,earn community service and build skills they will have forever,all while having fun.
