Executive Board

President- Drew Evans is the founder of VolunTeen. He is a sophomore at John Carroll where he excels in school and runs Cross Country and throws Discus.  Drew regularly serves his community, while always thinking/planning the next project. He started this organization with only 6 teens and in just a year has grown it to over 680 teens.  Drew was honored by the Bel Air Town Commissioners in March of ‘19, with the Student Achievement Award. In 2019, Drew and VolunTeen received the 20THAnnual Honors Row award presented by the Baltimore Ravens. Most recently Drew was the recipient of the Annie McGann Cumpston Memorial Scholarship for his service to the community.

Vice President- Ryan Skandalis is a cofounder of VolunTeen and sophomore at John Carroll. Ryan continuously serves his community, while also planning for future projects. Ryan plays club and high school soccer as well as high school basketball. Ryan is motivated in the classroom, maintain top grades. He also is a 5-time recipient of the Ben Carson Scholarship.

Secretary Brody Zumbano is a sophomore at C. Milton Wright and one of the cofounders of VolunTeen. Brody is a student athlete, always earning top honors at school.  Brody also excels on the field. He has 10 years of wrestling and lacrosse experience and plays both sports in high school.  Brody also consistently serves his community and is always willing to help, plan and coordinate projects.

Treasurer- Hayden Hicho is a co-founder of Volunteen. He is a sophomore at Calvert Hall and a member of the lacrosse team.  Hayden enjoys all aspects of community service - especially being hands on helping others. He was the project leader for the Kindness Rocks initiative and looks forward to leading more projects. Hayden excels in school always earning top honors. He enjoys skiing and traveling with his family.

Marketing/Swag/Social Media -Greg Temple is a sophomore at the John Carroll school and has been an active part of the VolunTeen community since the beginning.  He was awarded the leadership scholarship at John Carroll  and plays on the junior varsity football team and on the varsity lacrosse team.  He marked up 70 community service hour. He will be a teacher’s aide at St. Margaret Faith Formation classes in the fall for spring Confirmation.  

Director of Membership- Becca Wright is a sophomore at C. Milton Wright. She is a member on her high school soccer team as well as playing for her club team HFC. In the past Becca has frequently volunteered with Meals On Wheels, and has raised thousands of dollars toward American Heart Association, making her top fundraiser in the county for the “Hoops for Heart” event. She was also recently accepted to attend the

Emily Ashman is entering her senior year at C. Milton Wright. She plays soccer and tennis for school and all plays club soccer for Baltimore Union. She is a member of National Honors Society along with Junior Class Council. She enjoys giving back to her community and loves volunteering.

Jason Foxx is a sophomore at Fallston Highschool.  He is a student athlete who plays soccer and baseball. He has contributed to the community in many ways and looks forward to planning more projects. He is the project manager for our 1st Shoe Fundraiser. 

Caden Kestner is a upcoming sophomore at Bel Air High School. He excels in school and in 2019 received the Presidential Academic Excellence for his Achievements in school. Caden has a passion for Basketball. He has played travel basketball and AAU basketball for ten years. Also played his first season of High School basketball and also played a season of volleyball. Caden has been a part of VolunTeen since it was founded. He has participated in many projects and is instrumental on the board.

Noah Miller is a freshman at John Carroll where he excels academically and plays basketball and football. He enjoys working with his peers to help the community. Noah has been a member of VolunTeen since December 2018 and is excited to be a new board member. 

Olivia Bremer is a senior at C. Milton Wright. She regularly serves in her community and has been part of VolunTeen for a year. She plays Varsity basketball and stays on top of her academics. She is always willing to help and lead projects.

Ava DeSantis is entering her sophomore year at C Milton Wright high school. Ava enjoys playing soccer for the school, as well as club for HFC. Ava excels in school and is an honors student who earned the Presidential award in 2019. Ava enjoys giving back to her community and is looking forward to being a part of VolunTeen.

Lindsey Tolliver is entering her senior year at Patterson Mill. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor society, and FCA. She plays varsity lacrosse and volleyball. Outside of school she plays club lacrosse and club volleyball. Lindsey has volunteered with Anna’s House, Upper Chesapeake, United Way of Central Maryland, and with her school.

Sydney Levesque is a sophomore at Fallston. She is a member of the indoor track and jv softball team. She is very driven and works her hardest to succeed academically. Sydney has a passion for helping others and wants to make a difference in people’s lives by managing projects and being very active in her community.

Becca Wright is a sophomore at C. Milton Wright. She is a member on her high school soccer team as well as playing for her club team HFC. In the past Becca has frequently volunteered with Meals On Wheels, and has raised thousands of dollars toward American Heart Association, making her top fundraiser in the county for the “Hoops for Heart” event. She was also recently accepted to attend the Boston University high school summer program in 2020.

Andrew Wright is entering his senior year at C. Milton Wright High School. He plays varsity and club soccer. Andrew is a Boy Scout, currently working to achieve Eagle Scout. He has done volunteer work for various organizations including Meals on Wheels and Best Buddies. His junior year of high school, Andrew attended Maine Coast Semester, a semester program at a non-profit organization in Maine. There, he studied sustainability and stewardship in the natural world, with a focus on place-based education. Andrew enjoys photography, reading, and hiking in his free time.

Christian Shertzer is entering his senior year at Patterson Mill High School. He is a member of the National Spanish Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He excels as a student athlete that plays varsity soccer and baseball. He also plays club baseball for the US Elite Mid-Atlantic National Team. Christian is looking forward to serving his community and being a role model to those around him.

Hannah Richard is entering her sophomore year at Fallston High School. She is a student athlete and plays soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. She also likes to dance and spend time with her family. This past year she was the Vice President of her freshman class and has helped out in her church. She is excited to help out in the community with VolunTeen.

Nick Spires is going into his senior year at Bel Air High School. He is on the tennis team and in the National Business Honors Society. He qualified for states in FBLA. He volunteers at his local church, Christ Our King. He has always done well in school and looks to go into business in the future.

Alexandra Fuller is going to be a sophomore this year at John Carroll. She is a student athlete playing volleyball and basketball for school. She also plays AAU basketball for the Maryland Mustangs. Helping shelter dogs find homes is her passion along with helping out in the community. 

Kendall Drzik is a senior at Fallston High School.  She's been a part of Volun-Teen for about a year and enjoys working on many of the projects.  She also plays field hockey on the high school team and her club team, H2O.  She's involved in several school clubs and has a variety of volunteer experiences.
